The
Sovren Resume/CV
Converter
receives resumes and CVs in any native format
and converts them to plain text for use by the Sovren CV Parser, and optionally
for storage into a search engine, or database, or for easy display. ALL common
document formats (and about 50 obscure
ones) are supported, including the oldest and the newest (e.g.,
DOCX), and optional output of Word docs to formatted HTML is also provided.
The
Sovren
Pinpoint Search Engine provides extremely sophisticated query capabilities
which far exceed the capabilities of traditional full text search engines,
providing candidate profile searches in addition to traditional keyword
searches.
The
Sovren
Job Order Parser
extracts of the relevant data from a job order and builds a
job order profile for use by the Sovren Semantic Matching Engine. The job order
profile will contain information to describe job titles, required skills, optional
skills, years of experience desired, years of management experience desired, management
level, educational requirements, certifications, foreign languages, etc. The
precise specifications in the job order profile can now be used to find
candidates whose profiles match the job order profile.

broadened up to three conceptual levels of abstraction so as to find concepts
such as “people who have Java related skills and who have at least 5 years of
experience in enterprise applications”.
The
Sovren Resume/CV Transformer automatically creates “ready-to-submit” dubs with one click,
ensuring that all candidates are presented in a standard presentation format,
with company and recruiter specific data included – without a recruiter having
to do any work at all.
The Sovren
Automatic Emailed Resume/CV Processor application provides completely automated
hands-off ZERO-CLICK processing of emailed resumes and CVs, including downloading of the
email, locating the resume or CV, the cover letter, and any reference letters within the email,
saving and converting the data, parsing the resume/CV, and optionally storing the data
using customer-defined business rules.
