Sovren releases version 6.3 its products The new version adds accuracy improvements to contact info, employment and education history, support for Hungarian and improved parsing of LinkedIn profiles and JobSite CVs. This version builds on 6.2, which was released in October and provided dozens of new features as well as dramatic improvements in speed and accuracy throughout all languages and regions. Compared to version 6.0, this latest version is 200-600% faster and uses 30-60% less memory (varying by culture), allowing customers to do more with less. A single quad-core computer is now capable of extracting all 16 categories of HR-XML Resume content from over 1 million resumes/CVs per day, with the industry's highest degree of accuracy.


Sovren adds Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) solution Customers are now able to launch resume/CV parsing server(s) at Amazon EC2 within minutes using a pre-configured Amazon Machine Image (AMI). Sovren supports the full range of instance types, including the new and incredibly inexpensive Micro instances that cost less than $150/year to operate.
